CARMEN AND JEAN

This simple question, "So, have you been seeing anyone interesting lately?" has turned into a 10 year friendship and incredible musical partnership. Sitting in a cozy bar on the Upper West Side of NYC, we quickly came to the realization that we had both been duped into dating the SAME MAN. Giving in to our curiosity, we Googled the guy and found that there was an entire forum of classical (female) musicians who had posted warnings for fellow musicians to avoid this man at all costs. This story soon became the idea for our first shows in 2017 entitled, "So...Is This a Date?" a humorous yet poignant duo show highlighting our experiences of dating in the post-post modern world. Since our partnership's inception, Jean and I have taken our show to theaters throughout NYC, on a tour of the western US, and to St. Croix, USVI.
